Fort Lewis College accounting students are getting top jobs.
Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for accounting students and professionals.
The Fort Lewis College chapter has a program called the Denver Road Show. In early September, accounting majors travel to Denver to meet and network with professionals from several accounting firms, corporations and government agencies.
Due in part to the road show, the number of firms conducting on-campus interviews increases each year. Fort Lewis accounting majors who participate in on-campus interviews are offered jobs in the fall of their senior year.
The road show also reminds employers that Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration has the rare distinction of being an undergraduate, public liberal arts school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
Our career placement program has been so successful that the Fort Lewis Beta Alpha Psi officers were selected to present the Denver Road Show at the Beta Alpha Psi Annual National meeting in Washington D.C. More than 2,000 accounting students from colleges and universities around the world attended the meeting.
It's the best place to study accounting. Besides working closely with our faculty, you'll also help the community. Accounting majors participate in a variety of community service projects, including Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, assisting small businesses with accounting, Adopt-A-Highway and Special Olympics.
You'll experience hands-on learning, and your colleagues will encourage you to perform your best.
