Business Economics

At Fort Lewis College, you can focus on Economics while obtaining a Business Administration degree. You'll study the relationship between economics and business decision-making.

It's for those who plan to own a business or work as an economic consultant within a business. Some graduates from this program are working as bank managers and analyst for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Others have gone onto graduate school.

In our program, you'll also work in the field and engage in community-based learning and research through your studies. You'll also have the opportunity to study abroad. We'll guide you through the many international study options. Fort Lewis has pre-approved International Exchange and Study Abroad programs in 22 countries.

A liberal arts program complements your business economics education, teaching you how to seek out and create new information, to think critically, identify problems no one else has seen before and to propose solutions. You'll be able to frame a problem, consider options and make decisions after exploring the issue.

Fort Lewis encourages creative thinking and good ideas. Creativity is critical for successful business performance.
