At Fort Lewis College, you'll find communications in the heart of our English Department. We've created our program in a way that other traditional journalism schools are following our lead.
Rather than solely skills-based classes, we give you a broad base of knowledge and theory. Becoming familiar with history, economics and political science, for example, will help you understand the context in which current events unfold.
The Communications Department features a Digital Media Lab where students receive training and experience in using multimedia communications. Students produce digital films and interactive media in a lab that's equipped with digital media software, high definition video equipment, editing suites and production studios.
