You have passion for the expression of ideas. The Fort Lewis College English degree offers so many ways for you to express your passion and turn your strengths into viable job skills -- communications, writing, English teaching.

Consider the Southwest Writers Institute, KDUR campus radio, campus newspaper, literary journal Images Magazine and the student Creative Writing Club Scarlet Letters. These are just the extra curricular areas where you can apply your passion.

There are also the professors. They'll work with you in small classes where you'll prepare for internships and field studies. They also select top students in the major to receive scholarships. You can intern in journalism, digital media or public relations.
