Humanities

At Fort Lewis College, the Humanities major is a flexible, multidisciplinary program. You focus on your area of passion -- Art, History, English, Political Science, Literature... or 13 other possible areas.

Then combine it with two other areas of study. Perhaps you've considered Modern Languages, Philosophy or Southwest Studies. Using the three disciplines, you create your own multidisciplinary degree.

Humanities majors are putting ideas together in new ways. They compare and contrast different perspectives. They see the big picture. That's why our Humanities degree gives you a wide breadth of knowledge in many different subjects. It allows you to explore a broad range of similar interests or complement one area of passion with another.

Fort Lewis College is a leading liberal arts college. Here you'll learn to present and discuss a wide range of ideas. Critical and logical thinking will stimulate your intellectual growth.

With small classes, quality faculty, hands-on learning and liberal arts focus, Fort Lewis becomes the first choice among students interested in Humanities. To learn more about a degree in Humanities, contact our faculty.
