Theatre

The Theatre Department is known for its exciting and innovative program and its quality productions. With about four productions annually, you can earn college credit by working as actors, designers, builders, seamstresses, sound operators, light operators and other positions, no matter what your major.

Our Theatre Guest Artist program allows you to work directly with professionals in the film, TV and theatre industries. Previous guests have included Dan Lauria of the Wonder Years and Wendie Malick from Just Shoot Me, Frasier.

At Fort Lewis, Theatre gives you opportunities that you won't find at any other institution. The most dramatic example is when the department took its 2005 original production Skins to the La Mama, ETC Theatre in New York City.
