Emily Fleming - I came to Fort Lewis because it's a liberal arts school.
Lydon Wilkinson - I came from a small high school. My graduating class was 60 people. I wanted a smaller college
Megan Tahquette - When I got here, I fell in love with the campus and I fell in love with Durango.
Emily Fleming - Because it's a liberal arts school, I'm getting a really broad education.
Megan Tahquette - Seriously, the faculty really wants to be here. You can tell.
Emily Fleming - I'm able to have a one-on-one interaction with them (faculty). I'm gaining knowledge that I really don't feel I would be able to get at a larger school. It has been unbelievably affordable, especially in comparison to the education that I'm getting here.
Megan Tahquette - It's a small town atmosphere. Everywhere you go, you are going to see someone you know, and that you can talk to. At the same time, it feels like a big city. On Main Street, there are so many shops and great restaurants. Everything stays open late like a normal place.
Lydon Wilkinson - There is a lot going on all the time downtown and on campus. There are always lectures, concerts and shows going on.
Allen Ottman - You have mountains up to the north. There's backpacking, skiing, climbing. The west is a desert. Outside of Durango, we have three awesome ski areas. Purgatory is just 30 minutes up the road, Telluride is voted one of the best resorts in North America. Just an hour and a half to the east is Wolf Creek which has the most snow in Colorado.
Lydon Wilkinson -Some call this the Mountain biking capital of America. We've got hundreds and hundreds of miles of a mountain biking trail system.
Allen Ottman - Durango is just an awesome place to live. It's a fun, friendly town. The geography is amazing here. The school's great.
Lydon Wilkinson - It's the most beautiful campus in Colorado.
Emily Fleming - The community here has really become quite a family.
