Internships – As many as 150 Fort Lewis upperclassmen are doing internships in any given year.
The School of Business Administration has more intern positions than they have students to fill them. Exercise Science also requires students to work professionally, applying their knowledge and skills in the field.
Career Services will help you find an internship that fits with your career goals.
Work Integrated Learning – This work experience provides academic credit and relates to your major. A faculty advisor and work supervisor will guide you in your work experience. It's also called Career Related Experience.
Cooperative Education – Through this program you can earn credit and gain real-world experience in your chosen career. You can do this between your sophomore and junior years.
