Library 150

An Introduction to Library Research

This course will help you develop the research and information seeking skills you’ll need to become effective writers and scholars. You’ll learn to find and use information.

This one-credit class is required for some students to graduate. However, if you're a new freshmen, using the 07-08 catalog of courses, you won’t need to take this course. In fact, we will no longer offer Lib 150 after the 08-09 academic year.

  • Cite sources using the MLA citation style;
  • Use a variety of information sources to satisfy an information need;

  • Reflect upon research strategies used for the course to formulate better approaches for the future.
