The Independent is an entirely student-led weekly paper. Students participating in the paper can earn credit. Working at the paper is also a great way to build your resume and gain practical experience in public and client relations.
The Independent offers the following positions: reporting, photography, design, copy editing, web design, public relations, and advertising. The Independent also uses guest columnists, cartoonists, and reporters. The Independent also offers an open-submission policy for students and faculty.
