
Feeling healthy will help you focus on your coursework and studies. That's why Fort Lewis College offers a health center on campus with easy access to nurses, a physician assistant and physicians.
Our staff provides general medical care, including minor surgical, nursing, first aid, and emergency care for most illnesses and injuries. The Health Center also provides laboratory services, performs intercollegiate sports physicals and routine physicals for jobs and other schools.
Think of them when you're planning to study abroad. They'll provide you with travel information regarding health issues in the area you'll be traveling, and provide you with the required immunizations for international travel.
If our staff can't provide the services you need, they'll secure appointments for you with physicians, dentists and other practitioners in Durango.
All registered students may use the Health Center on campus. There may be a nominal fee such as an office visit fee for $15; and a comprehensive visit fee for $25. Our pharmacy and lab prices are affordable.
Students are encouraged to have health insurance while in college. Fort Lewis College offers an accident and sickness insurance plans for students who need it.
