Getting involved in extracurricular activities helps our students meet new people, try different things and have fun. It also provides opportunities for leadership development and helps build quality resumes.
Fort Lewis College offers 65 organizations in which students can take a leadership role. The Leadership Center supports and guides students in leading these clubs and organizations. It also helps students create new ones around particular interests and needs.
Students also become involved in helping the Leadership Center coordinate campus-wide events such as Tri-the-Rim Triathlon, Welcome Wee, Hozhoni Days, Student Club Fair, Homecoming and many more.
This student leadership experience is often the strongest part of students' resumes.
