Student Life Center

Built in 2001, the Student Life Center is a $7.5 million student-funded facility. This outstanding sports facility features a gymnasium, indoor track, racquetball courts, free weights, circuit and cardio training equipment, climbing wall and aerobics studio.

The National Intramural Recreational Sports Association awarded Fort Lewis the 2002 NIRSA Outstanding Sports Facility award. The center has also received the Athletic Business Facility of Merit nominee and a 2003 Recreation Management Honor Award.

All enrolled students are eligible to use the recreational facilities and equipment, which includes indoor soccer balls, badminton, racquetball, basketballs, volleyballs and wallyballs.

The facility meets the present and future needs of open recreation, club sports, outdoor pursuits, fitness programs and intramural programs for students.
