Come to Fort Lewis College with your laptop and roam our campus. You'll find the hot spots in nearly every building, resource center and residence hall. Check your bars. Our signal strength is excellent.
Yahoo! Internet Life recently ranked Fort Lewis as the 10th most wired school in the nation for small, public colleges. We spent $2 million installing high-speed Internet connections and cable television hookups in every on-campus apartment and residence hall room.
As an enrolled student, you automatically have an FLC network account. This gives you an Internet connection. If you are living in a residence hall or apartment, you have direct Ethernet connection. You also have 50 MB of storage space on our FLC server. We're your web host and we'll help you start your first web page.
Printing isn't a problem. With our wireless technology, you can print to the nearest computer lab printer from your own computer. Or print from your room to the laser printer in the resident hall computer lab.
Our Resnet staff will help you get started. If you're a new student, we realize that you may have many questions to get up and running. If you're used to a dialup connection at home, you'll find the network connection at Fort Lewis College much faster and more reliable.
About 4,000 students come to Fort Lewis College. One in five is Native American. Fort Lewis offers several cultural centers where students meet, study and learn with others.
