
Students who visit campus this winter will receive a free ski pass to Durango Mountain Resort. Family members receive a voucher for 50 percent off their lift ticket.

Skyhawk Saturday: Skyhawk Saturdays are half-day programs on certain Saturdays throughout the year. These events provide an in-depth view of Fort Lewis College. You will hear from the different academic units and professors on campus, learn more about financial aid and scholarships and get an overview of the the admission process. You will also learn more about student organizations, housing and life at Fort Lewis. A current student will lead you on a tour of our beautiful mountain campus. |

Saturdays -- Interviews and tours are usually not availabe on Saturdays. We will try to accommodate you if you need a Saturday visit. However, we strongly encourage weekday visits when classes are in session. Residence Hall tours are not available on Saturdays. |

By car: Principal highways to Durango: Hwy 550 & Hwy 160 Driving from the Denver area: From Hwy 285 South, turn right on Hwy 112 heading West to Del Norte. In Del Norte, turn right onto Hwy 160. Follow Hwy 160 West in to Durango. Hwy 160 becomes Hwy 160-550. When it splits, follow Hwy 550 to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs to Office of Admission. Driving from the Grand Junction area: Hwy 50 South to Hwy 550 South to Durango. Hwy 550 becomes Main Avenue. Follow Main Avenue through downtown Durango to 8th Street. Turn left on 8th Street. When it dead-ends, turn left on 8th Avenue. Follow to top of the hill. At the traffic light, turn left and follow signs for the Office of Admission. Driving from Colorado Springs - Pueblo areas: I-25 South to Hwy 160 West in to Durango. Hwy 160 becomes Hwy 160-550. When it splits, follow Hwy 550 to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs for Office of Admission. |
Driving from Albuquerque, NM: Hwy 550 North to Durango. Follow 550 North to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs for Office of Admission. Arriving by air: Daily flights arrive at and depart from the Durango-La Plata County Airport. Daily flights from the Denver and Phoenix area are available. |
