At Fort Lewis College, student success is the center of all of our endeavors.
We're dedicated to the highest quality liberal arts education that develops the whole person for success in life and work. Our students' need for academic success determine our priorities for academic planning, policies and programs.
Faculty advisors work with every student, guiding students in their education and career planning. Advisors review students' progress towards graduation, helping them plan course selections for each term.
To help students succeed in their classes, we provide free tutoring, mentoring and advocacy. Students will find these resources that will help them succeed:
Academic Advising Center and Student Success Center - Supplemental advising for students in addition to their faculty advisors.
Computer Resources - Among public liberal arts colleges, we rank fourth nationwide in the student to computer ratio. Students have access to computer resources campus-wide.
John F. Reed Honors Program - We provide an academic enrichment program to high-achieving students.
TRIO Program for Academic Advancement - Providing academic and personal support to eligible students, the TRIO program offers a long list of special services.
Writing Center - Students receive help with any writing assignment or project for any class.
Math Center - Staffed by math instructors and trained peer educators, the Algebra Alcove builds students' confidence and skills in math.
Language Lab - This resource helps students study foreign languages.
Disability Services - We provide appropriate accommodations for those with documented disabilities.
