Intramural Leagues

The Intramural Program offers sport leagues and special events throughout the year on campus. The goal of the Intramural Program is that participants develop an appreciation of the worthy use of leisure time and a wholesome attitude toward physical activity.

We offer participants a positive, constructive environment to meet new friends, build self-esteem, improve or maintain fitness, relieve stress and cultivate an awareness of the importance of lifetime health and fitness.

Intramural Leagues include:

  • Outdoor Soccer
  • Indoor Soccer
  • Flag Football
  • Volleyball
  • Softball
  • Basketball
  • Kickball
  • Mountain Bike Racing

All Fort Lewis College students and members of the Student Life Center are eligible to play. Players who compete in varsity athletics are not eligible to play the same sport in intramurals.

The Student Life Center and Intramural Program are student run, making the Recreational Services Department one of the largest student employers on campus. Students have an active role in supervising, organizing, and implementing the programs. Working for Recreational Services is not only fun, it gives students valuable work experience.
