Campus TourLife-Long Learning
The Professional Associates of Fort Lewis College offers the Life-Long Learning Program. The group seeks to improve the quality of life for area residents by using Fort Lewis College resources to interact with the community and in turn benefit the students of the college.
The Associates offers lectures to the public on many different subjects. The Associates use the vast knowledge and expertise of their own members, as well as others, to offer these lectures and panel discussions free of charge to the community.
The current series offers 10 free lectures and panel discussions. Members of the Professional Associates are recognized leaders in the arts, business, education, health and the sciences.
Yarden Gazit and Assaf Yogev, international students from Israel and members of the Tel-Aviv Cycling Club and the Israeli National Team, came to Fort Lewis to combine their interest in cycling with quality academics. The FLC Cycling team has earned 12 national championships in the past 13 years.
