Fort Lewis College offers many, many scholarships. They're designed to reward students who demonstrate academic achievement, strong academic promise, leadership ability and a strong commitment to community service or co-curricular activities.
You may be eligible. All students who meet the minimum academic criteria are encouraged to apply. But you must apply for admission to the college by January 15th. Don't miss out. Apply early so we can consider you for one of our merit and award based programs.
Outside scholarships are another source of financial assistance. Businesses, social service agencies, foundations, unions, associations, religious groups, fraternal organizations, trusts and municipal institutions are sources for scholarships, fellowships, loans, awards, grants, internships, and prizes.

Don't let financial concerns stop your education. At Fort Lewis College, we recently launched a new Merit Scholarship Program.
Beginning in 2007-2008, we're offering a scholarship program that will benefit more students. If you apply with a 92 index or better, you'll qualify for a merit scholarship, automatically renewable for four years. That's eight semesters of scholarships!
If you live in Colorado, you'll receive as much as $500 a year. If you live out-of-state, you could get a $1,000 a year.
Our merit scholarship program is straightforward. All freshmen who apply for admissions are automatically considered for our merit scholarships. There is no additional paperwork to qualify.
Fort Lewis College operates on a January 15th priority deadline. Apply for admission by January 15th, and we'll consider you first for a merit scholarship. You simply need to qualify with a 92 index or better. Apply after January 15th, and we'll still consider you for a merit scholarship as long as funds are available.
Resident Native American students who qualify for the tuition waiver are also eligible for the Merit Scholarship.
Non-resident Native American students who qualify for the tuition waiver are also eligible for the Merit Scholarship.
Scholarships can help make your college education more affordable. At Fort Lewis, about 70 percent of students who apply by Jan. 15th for Fall enrollment receive a merit scholarships.
