Club Sports

At Fort Lewis College, club sports are student organizations formed by individuals and motivated by a common interest and desire to participate in a sport activity. These sports organizations provide a unique opportunity for students to develop athletic, social, and leadership qualities.

Students are encouraged to participate in club sports. It's a great way to meet other students with common interests and develop athletic and leadership skills.

Club Sports include:

Cycling -- This group develops, promotes and fosters healthy cycling communities in both the Fort Lewis College and Durango regions.

Lacrosse Club -- The group competes in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference.

Ski Club -- Anyone can participate. There's no need for prior race experience. The Ski Team offers students the chance to experience a new form of competition and sport or to continue collegiate racing careers free from the pressures of Division I competition.

Soccer Club -- This highly competitive team practices 3 to 4 times a week and competes in both the Fall and the Spring.

Track and Field Club -- The club competes in both indoor and outdoor track seasons, with competitions in Colorado, New Mexico, and California.

Other sports clubs include ice hockey and softball.
