Work on Campus

Fort Lewis College routinely employs about 600 students every semester. About half of these students have demonstrated financial need to qualify for "need-based" work-study. The other half simply find good quality jobs on campus.

The departments employing these students pay their wages, ranging from minimum wage to $9 per hour. Job vacancies are listed with Career Services.

Students are also finding jobs off campus. Students are encouraged to apply directly to the agency where they wish to work. Occasionally, employers in the community will call the Office of Financial Aid about job openings. We post these job listings on a Job Vacancy bulletin board located at the Office of Financial Aid, Room 101 in Miller Student Services Bldg.
